Thank you for choosing Clever K9s. This is our pre-training online course intended to build your pup/dog’s focus on you.

Before our sessions there are some straightforward exercises for you to carry out at home. They can have great results in themselves and are a great preparation for the any training sessions as they help build a good focus on you.

The exercises are below. Please prepare thoroughly before commencing each of the exercises as per the guidance given.

Reward Selection

Response To Name

Using a Long Line

Eye Contact

– A most powerful action that your dog does itself. Winning your dog’s attention as their friend and leader is at the heart of building a bond – demonstrated by them checking in with eye contact as they await your approval and direction. Conditioning Recall Cues
