Dog Walking: Coronavirus/COVID-19 precautions.

Coronavirus/COVID 19 policies and procedures.

Dog walkers can continue to operate and priority will be given to key workers, and shielded and vulnerable people who are unable to make alternative safe arrangements for their dog.

Dogs from coronavirus infected or self-isolating households may be walked but if doing so they must be walked after dogs from all other households.

Clients must adhere to UK Government guidelines (UK Govt) for England and Bradford District Metropolitan Council guidelines, (BMDC) regarding Coronavirus/COVID-19.

Clear instructions will be provided to each client in writing before the first meeting. This will be emailed prior to the Dog Walking Service

Dog Walkers and Clients are advised that the Walking Services are used at their own risk and they must ensure that they are taking the necessary precautions to prevent Coronavirus transmission.

Please follow any directives given by Clever K9 staff. This may differ from previous guidance as circumstances may change. Clients are advised that walking times could be stopped by changes to Government and Local Authority announcements.

Any paperwork will be emailed to dog owners prior to it being needed. Any paperwork given out should be prepared at least 72 hours in advance and put into a bag or box ready to take to the client. The dog walker should wear gloves when handing out paperwork or sanitise hands before and after.
