CK9 Course Joining Instructions
Clever K9s Puppy Course :- Each Tuesday at 6pm from 08/07/25 – 12/08/25 “Mines a Clever K9!”

All About the Dog Directions:-
Please use postcode: BD21 5QY (Glen Lee Lane).
Once on Glen Lee Lane, look out for a turn off onto Woodhouse Road (BD21 5QX).
- At the crest of the steep hill, on your right as you go up (approaching from Long Lee).
- Just after a sharp bend, it’s to your left as you start to go down (if coming from the Guide Pub direction).
Do not approach up Woodhouse Road from the Woodhouse estate. It’s not suitable for vehicles.
The All About the Dog Training Centre is next to Cragg Hill Farm, where parking is available next to the Training Centre..
You will be at the centre for one hour or so. There are no plumbed toilet facilities but a camp toilet tent will be available.
Each Tuesday the training starts at 6pm please arrive 15mins earlier to allow for parking and moving to the training room. Training ends at 7pm and we have to be clear of the park by 7:15pm.

Don’t forget to bring;
- Lots and lots of your dog’s favourite rewards.
- Drinks for you, there is a water supply for the dogs.
- A water bowl for your dog.
- A pair of gloves for safe use of the long line.
- A well fitted harness for your dog.
- Poo bags (we have spares if forgotten).
This course is free to students, with costs being covered by Clever K9s as our contribution to our local dog community and their guardians. If anyone wants to make a donation to our wonderful local dog rescue charities, Aireworth Dogs in Need, and Pawfection Rehoming Foundation, please do so. I will split the donations equally.
I need to ask you for your permission to video record the training so I can promote these training sessions. Also I have to provide video of my training classes to my mentors at the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT) and the rescue charities that have fostered dogs that participate in the training. If you do not want to be videoed please let me know via the link just below. You will not be directly videoed and any footage that may accidentally include you will be deleted when editing.

Please ensure that you complete & submit the Video Consent form via the link immediately above. (A definite “Yes” or “No” is required).
Please dress for the weather to your own satisfaction. Footwear with a good grip is recommended. This training room is very roomy.
There are no toilet facilities. I will bring a simple camping toilet (that I always hope will not be used!).
There are rules in place at the site. There is a working farm with livestock adjacent to the training centre.
** PLEASE KEEP DOGS ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES TO AVOID THEM STRAYING AMONGST THE LIVESTOCK. **
In emphasis there are some important rules to Follow:
✅ Park ONLY in the designated car park (Not in the farm vehicles parking area or on the approach lane).
✅ Keep the compound gate closed for extra security of the training centre.
✅ Pick up your dog’s poo and let our staff know about any more that you find.
⛔We are a no smoking facility.
Parking is limited but sufficient. We will have to work together to get in place.
Can I ask that you do not allow the dogs to meet together and keep your dog on a lead at all times – this is for control and incase any dogs react badly to any other dogs. If you want to do some doggie socialisation please wait until the end. It’s best to do socialising this way to prevent the dogs being distracted in the training session.
If you forget poo bags please ask and we can provide. If its difficult for you to reach any poo let a member of staff know and we will deal with it.
If for any reason you cannot make it to the session please let me know. We may be able to fill the vacancy if there is sufficient notice.
